HD Indoor Storage had a great time at the RV show! We all came back with an armload of campground brochures to go through. And I met some seasoned RVers that gave me some great itineraries — Alaska, wow! Also met some proud Grandparents, who are First-time RVers, headed to Walt Disney World with their entire brood. RV is a great way to do Disney — we have done both ways and by RV was 1/3 the cost and even more fun! Of course, you are always ready to hit the road when you store indoor at HD Indoor Storage. And when you settle back in we’ve got the dump station and RV wash. You can check out the website for those details — here, let ‘s talk RV trips!
So, I am always up for inspiration and tips. I came across the link to share: Bucket List Rv Trips for 2019. I’m not sure there is a lot of new news here — Yosemite, Yellowstone, Grand Cayon — of course! I was a little disappointed by the number of western trips — that is quite a haul from our neck of the woods. But, I wholeheartedly agree with the Great Smokey Mountains. We just did that last year, it was awesome and very doable.
We did a fun and expected trip last year that was unexpected Ohio and Michigan. We hit the Football Hall of Fame, Michigan State Park Camping, Cedar Point and Cleveland’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I would highly recommend those sites.
A year later and I am still looking to satisfy my RV bucket list of a NASCAR Infield experience. And we still need a really good RV tailgate. Always looking for suggestions…
The Greater Philadelphia RV Show is OPEN! We’ve given #1, #2 and #3. Our final thing to look forward to is closer to home. The BEST home for your RV — HD Indoor Storage. We are back for our 2nd year exhibiting at the RV Show! Look for us at Booth B35!
And while you can learn at www.hdindoorstorage.com, come get your information first hand. This is the largest RV Show in the area at the Expo Center in Oaks, Pa until Sunday March 3rd.
RV Show Excitement: #4 HD Indoor Storage
Being fans of RVs, we are so excited to be a part of this big event. We got a great spot this year near Stoltzfus RV’s and we have the pleasure of looking at a Tiffin Allegro right in front of us!
If you are looking for a place to keep your beautiful RV — beautiful, come see us. We have a lot of exciting news to share. And we brought the HD experience to the show — display, videos, brochures, gifts. Look for the blue and green, we can talk about storage, RVs, Camping trips or pirate jokes (Read Countdown #3)!
Hope to see you Today, Saturday or Sunday! And stay tuned for more updates from the show…
Phase II Construction in full swing! More units and Automated RV Wash coming in September!!
We had such a great time at the RV Show — was that almost 2 Months ago! Some of our friends from the show have taken delivery on their new RVs and found a home with us to keep in brand-spanking NEW!
April was rough. We had our heaters pumping keeping units nice and toasty. We had 3 days of below freezing temperatures and an average of 50 degrees!
But, today is beautiful — I’ve got road trips on my mind. But, over at the HD Indoor Facility, things are sprouting this Spring! How about a new building with an automated RV wash? I’ve included our flyer with all the details and construction picks coming soon.
Now, I’m going to work on some trip planning — always looking for inspiration.
So, I made this little video tour of the unit. I was talking to another prospective customer who wanted a peek but couldn’t make the trip. Enough with this weather already! Nor-easter #3?! I’m so over this. One improvement from last year is worrying about my “RV baby” braving the conditions. Not a problem this year at HD Indoor as you can see — the best Home for your RV!
It’s the last day of the Philly Rv Show at Oaks and so many happy faces today. I think many are finding the “the One”. That dream RV they’ve been looking for. We like to ask people “See anything good?” And we heard many time yesterday “Yeah, my new RV — I got one.” This statement was accompanied by the biggest smile.
If you believe in signs, today is the day to come to the show. When we drove up here today — the sun is shining, the construction on 422 was gone and there are wine and chocolate vendors, too! So, if you find the “One” today — please come share your good news with us. We are RV fans too! And if you need any help taking care of your prizes, come on by — we got room.
We continue our countdown to the Greater Philadelphia RV Show and the excitement is building for the HD Indoor Storage Team. We love RVs a and we love going places in our RVs. That’s why we built HD Indoor off Exit 31 of the PA Turnpike because it’s easy to get to the Mountains, Shore, and More. But, that is for www.hdindoorstorage.com. This is about the RV Show coming to our neck of the woods in Oaks, Pa. And if you haven’t been to the Philly RV Show before, you will be happy to know what else there is to discover.
RV Show Excitement: #2 Campgrounds
Have an RV — will travel. And one of the many perks of our area is great campgrounds. There is great destination inspiration at the RV Show. We were very RV focused when we went last year and were pleasantly surprised to see some of our favorite Camping Spots at the show. And this year we look forward to check-in with our Old Friends and find some new getaways.
Philadelphia/West Chester KOA is a favorite for us. It is close which means that enjoying our RV and outdoors can be a reality on a weekend that may be packed with other obligations. Some come far and wide because of its close proximity to Philadelphia and ability to accommodate day tours to the City of Brotherly Love. We love the location on Brandywine Creek where you can canoe and fish. The owners are always updating to keep the facilities top-notch. We hope to check in with them at the show to hear the latest. Last year, we got the early news of a stunning store remodels. Hey Gary, what’s new?
Blue Rock’s Family Campground is so unique. It’s located near Hamburg, PA (that’s right, near Cabela’s — make time for a visit). It has an amazing Boulder Field left behind by a receding glacier from the last Ice Age. We were able to camp right up against it — it is unreal scenery. There are great hiking trails from within the campground that let you hook-up to the Appalachian Trail. If you really enjoy Hiking, it’s worth taking a drive to nearby Hawk Mountain as well. But, it is really worth looking for them at the Philly RV Show because last year they brought a classic car and vintage trailer — a must see!
So much left to discover! We are always looking for new finds in the Poconos. We have not really explored Western Pennsylvania. And while we are no stranger to the Jersey Shore, we haven’t camped there yet. So, we are on the hunt for some new Campgrounds this season and now is the time to plan. Hey Campgrounds — if you are going to be at the Philly RV Show, let’s hear about it. And if you know of any great destinations, give us your favs!
Could there be a #3 item of RV Excitement? Stay tuned to find out.
